The Build Project is DLX’s worldwide fundraising effort to build and fix DIY skate spots. DLX is sending out over 250 Fundraising Buckets to skate shops across the country in an effort to help build stronger skate scenes and more places to skate. If this idea wasn’t cool enough as it was, DLX also kicked down $50 to each build to get the ball rolling. We were stoked to learn that we would be one of the shops participating, and can’t wait to get to work on a new DIY here in San Luis Obispo. For those who live in the area, simply stop by our retail store and donate what you can. All donors who do so will receive a free limited edition Skate Warehouse leather patch as a symbol of our gratitude for your generosity. Anything helps, even a simple slappy curb or cinderblock ledge would be a great addition to our flourishing scene. The deadline for donations to the Skate Warehouse x DLX build project is 30 days from today (August 5, 2105) on September 4, 2015. Let’s get together and build something sick!
